TECHNOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION
The basic materials for our windows production are: pine timber, oak, meranti or eucalyptus of 12% humidity. Three-layered plywood with removed knags, glued within waterproof glue is made of timber. Next, windows elements are prepared on treatment center and other specific machine tools. When bars are glued, the submerged impregnation in ADLER impregnates takes place.
Dried elements are filled by fillers and polished before lacquering (Adler varnish, method of hydro-dynamic shower).
The next step is fitting with ROTO NT fittings.
Another stage includes fitting the aluminum profile, which is to drain the water, fit the seals, stick the self-adhesive seals under a pane, put the thermo-insulating pane, screw on the glass-mounted panels, press a silicon between wooden items and a window-pane in order to insulate it perfectly.

decorative elements
A window does not consist only with a frame and a window-pane. There is also a range of additional elements. A part of them influences only woodwork design, for instance: extra sculptured elements. We co-operate constantly with a sculptor in order to prepare any motif ordered by our customers. It is especially important in monumental and sacred buildings in order to maintain their character but, moreover, it can grant a unique design of your building or house. Many issues simply depend on details.

Following such a standpoint, we should also focus on a window-pane, which may become a brilliant decorative element. Here, we also co-operate closely with a stained-glass windows workshop.

Apart from stained-glass windows, we also offer a range of ornamental window-panes.
One cannot imagine a window without window-sills. They don't have to be still and not adding anything special to an overall design. The selection is great in terms of material scope (marble, conglomerate, aluminum, wood and others) and finishing.

window and door woodwork
Door woodwork - see a gallery
Door is such a woodwork part, which should separate inhabitants from a public life turmoil, isolate from cold, protect from unwelcome people and be a sort of showpiece of a house, premises or institution. It is that door creates the first impression of visitors; it is a commonly observed element, which is often used by inhabitants or users. That's why, the choice of proper outer and inner door is so extremely important. Glumatex, producing woodwork at order, treats each product individually due to its form and shape uniqueness. We put pressure on wood quality used in doors production (glue laminated timber of pine-tree or mahogany), its tightness (seal goes through the entire circuit), rendering quality, but also the aesthetics and functionality. We use ADLER lacquers for completing a wooden surface, including all color options, both: transparent and covering.
The additional aesthetic values create interesting constructional solutions, such as: proper muntins placement, using the ornamental, mirror, bulging glass sets, stained-glass windows, decorative sculptures and such supplements as handles, toggles, pull handles and doorknockers. A great variety of patterns for outer and inner doors, which can be modified in any way, enables to make the choice entirely in reference to a customer's requirements.

Window woodwork - see a gallery
Windows are the most crucial elements of walls and façades. They should harmonize with them and influence the mood of flats. Windows produced by Glumatex are made in reference to IV 68 profile, according to DIN, with three-layer pine-tree or mahogany of high quality glue laminated timber. We prepare windows of different shapes: rectangular, triangular, trapezium, arched, round, Gothic and others, in accordance to a template. We use ADLER varnishes of any colors, both: transparent ones that display the natural timber structure, and covering ones, in order to finish a wooden surface. Glazing is another crucial factor of window design. We equip our woodwork in thermo-insulating pines (up to U=0,9W/m2K), that are sound-absorbing, anti-burglar or decorative: ornamental, mirror, bulging or glass-stained. It is also possible to design some sets of various functions at a single window.
If a customer wishes to, we decorate the woodwork with sculptured elements, embellished transom bars, tongue stiles or various outer and in-between panes muntins. We use modern solutions of fitting systems, such as ROTO or SIEGENIA. Our woodwork fulfills its function in single-family houses, elegant co-operates, large and representative monuments and sacred buildings. While producing woodwork at order, we treat each product individually, because of form and shape uniqueness to satisfy the most sophisticated customers.

In many buildings of modern design, the timber woodwork is mounted on. Glumatex, by preparing windows and doors for any order, is able to meet the requirements of the most eccentric architecture. It happens that such architecture values a timber woodwork as the element that the innovation of buildings.
The most common tendencies in architects' projects, in which woodwork is equipped, are interesting pane sets, modern solutions of fitting systems or varnishing colors that differ from the standard windows and doors coloring. Windows that we produce may have any shape that fits a given building character, may be equipped with ROTO or SIEGENIA fittings, handles and pull handles of any patterns and shapes, ornamental window panes, mirror and colorful foils. We paint our woodwork with the Austrian ADLER paints of a huge pallet of colors.
Moreover, our technology helps to achieve the architects' goal - satisfaction of customers of the most sophisticated tastes. We have already made woodwork, mainly, for such modern buildings as Geofizyk in Muszyna, Alpinus in Świętochłowice, and BMK in Chorzów or The Gidle Forest Inspectorate.

Monumental buildings
Wood is the oldest material used in windows production. Current technologies and additional materials allow for their more recent usage than it was earlier. A great majority of Glumatex production is woodwork for monumental buildings, which is supervised by Curator.
Such woodwork demands precision and representation of very sophisticated decorative elements. Our woodwork is prepared in reference to customer's order. We may apply various embellished elements due to woodwork of any shape and monumental character, such as: sculptured capitals, footings, decorative tongue stiles and transom bars or muntins (plastered or full) that imitate a window division.
While preserving a characteristic design of woodwork, we also equip it with modern ferrules, as ROTO or SIEGENIA, special pane sets: heat-insulating ones (up to U=1,0Wm2K), sound-absorbing ones, anti-burglar ones or decorative with ornamental or colorful window-panes or window-stained glasses.
Moreover, it is also possible to varnish it at any color, preserving the grains of wood drawing, or covering it with paints. Glumatex may boast of preparing woodwork for buildings that are under Curator supervision, as Main Post Office in Katowice, Bawełna Śląska in Bielawa, Bieltex in Bielawa, Monumental Buildings in Görlitz or Bank Przemysłowo-Handlowy in Bytom.

Shop-windows
Glumatex, as building woodwork producer, also offers shop-windows that form a significant production statistics. In this scope of woodwork we do have a great experience. Up today, we prepared a numerous and varied shop-windows. Beginning with very simple ones, lean in a form with original colors, through ones decorated with non-standard embellished elements and ending with the ones made of mahogany tree, lacquered in colors that display the natural beauty of such type of wood, decorated densely with sculptured items and various outer and in-between muntins. Usually, we equip doors with pull handles of any shape, self-closings and roller locks.
We recommend using anti-burglar window-panes of P2 or P3 class due to security. Apart from that, in order to ensure the thermal insulation, we may install window-pane sets constructed of anti-burglar and heat-insulating panes of low K-rate of heating penetration. Because of the fact, that our woodwork is made in accordance to a customer's order and architects' projects, we guarantee that it will harmonize with the surrounding architecture. For instance, we prepared shop-windows for mainly: "Pod Aniołem" Drugstore in Tarnowskie Góry, Łukasiewicz Drugstore in Bytom, "Laura" Drugstore in Radzionków, Drugstore in Mikołów, Dom Handlowy "Komfort" in Bytom, Jeweler Antique Shop in Warsaw and many more.
